7th India Land Development Conference | November 2023
The 7th India Land and Development Conference (ILDC), organized by FLAME University, Center for Land Governance in Bhubaneswar, and other partners, was held at the FLAME university campus. The theme of the 7th ILDC – ‘Land- People Relations: Diversity and Transitions’ drew upon these trends and realities, seeking to trigger intra- and inter-sectoral and disciplinary conversations and partnerships around the land questions, solutions, and experiences investigating these dimensions.
The Centre organised a panel discussion on states’ success stories around Land Administration and Innovation. Mr. Vivek Singh (Development Commissioner Bihar); Dr. Pradeep K Nayak (Revenue Judge, Govt. of Odisha); Mr. Aman Mittal (MD, Maharashtra Power Company Limited); Mr. Vinod Agarwal (Former Chief Secretary Telangana) participated.
This panel has now led to a larger research project on evaluating some land-related policies in the state of Maharashtra and Odisha.
CKA also organized a separate session of Mr. Singh with Centre’s research officers as well as other faculty members.
