His research interests include law and development, institutional economics, knowledge frameworks and psephology.

He has also taught Data Visualization as guest faculty at MIT Institute of Design, Pune, and NID Haryana, and served as a freelance Data Visualization Consultant for the International Food Policy Research Institute.His research interests are in the field of Data Visualisation, emergent users and Human-Centered Computing (HCC).
