Prof. Samriddha Sanyal is an Assistant Professor – Computer Science at FLAME University. He received a Doctorate Degree in Computer science from Indian Statistical Institute; Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University and Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira.
His Ph.D. thesis is focused on deriving a pass prediction system from broadcasting soccer video. He is a recipient of IDRBT doctoral colloquium award 2021 for deriving a top-view visualization system from broadcasting soccer video. He was an NBHM fellow from 2015-2016.
Prior to joining FLAME University, he was associated with the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies(UPES) as an assistant professor.
His research interest includes but not limited to computer vision and machine learning.
He enjoys Yoga and table tennis.
