We invite you to a session on Higher Education in Germany by Devi Arand and Dhanashree Deodhar. The speakers will discuss various options and opportunities of higher education and research in all fields in Germany, and also provide information on courses in Germany, funding opportunities, application requirements, deadlines and student life in Germany.

Duration of the session: 20 min presentation and 30 min Q&A session

Speakers:

Ms. Devi Arand is the honorary director of DAAD Information Centre Pune since September 2017. She is also a guest lecturer for German literature at Department of Foreign Languages (German studies), SPPU Pune since September 2017. She graduated from the University of Bamberg, Germany. She has taught at Goethe Institute, at schools in Bavaria and in Berlin and at the University of Regensburg. She has also worked as a DAAD language assistant at IIT Bombay during the academic year 2014/2015 as teacher for German as a Foreign Language.

Ms. Dhanashree Deodhar is the Information and Office Manager, DAAD Information Center Pune. She has studied German literature and completed her Master’s degree from University of Pune. She has worked as administrative assistant in Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd. In May 2009 she joined DAAD as Information and Office Manager at DAAD Information Centre Pune and she is also teaching German as a foreign language at University of Pune.
