Discover India Program (DIP) is one of FLAME's most unique experiential learning offerings. Students are encouraged to work in groups and learn to execute a mini research project about various facets of the country such as art and culture, heritage, livelihood, habitat, ecology, ritualistic practices, architecture, communities amongst many other areas to better understand the country. DIP is a completely student driven program where students form their own groups, identify a topic of interest, research and then execute a field trip in an area of their choice in the country. The entire process is supervised by a FLAME faculty member. This is an integral part of liberal education at FLAME where we attempt to create an interface with spaces that lie beyond the classroom.
