Abstract: We will first look at AI as it is being practiced today. It will contain a brief overview of the problems and techniques where significant progress has been made. These technologies/ applications have already been deployed or will soon see mainstream deployment in the near future.
We will then briefly look at human intelligence and the main dimensions along which it differs from current AI giving us some directions in which AI can go. And finally, very briefly, we look at regulatory, legal and ethical issues.
