Dr Doris Sommer, Professor of Romance languages at Harvard University, is visiting the campus next week. She is a prolific scholar on art, culture and education and is known for a pedagogical intervention she designed called PreText, which has been adopted in many schools across the US, Latin America and Africa. She also runs the Cultural Agents Initiative at Harvard University. Despite her focus on art, her work informs a large body of disciplines, including education, policy and development.
