Department of Design, Art and Performance has invited a well-known singer, composer to share his thoughts on Music for Dance and Choreography as a part of the Choreography course, Dance Minor program at FLAME University.

Speaker Bio: An acclaimed singer and composer, Karthik Hebbar is one of the most sought-after musicians in the classical dance fraternity today. His wide-ranging knowledge of music, dance, theatre and literature has earned him great collaborations as well as a huge social media following. With an eye of a critic, his treatment of any creative work is layered and detailed. He will be sharing his thoughts on the following aspects -

1. How music can create a dialogue with dance phrases.
2. How music can incorporate the sub-text of the literature to suit the exploration of dance.
3. How soundscapes can bring and add underlying and unsaid meaning to movements.
