Conference on "Environmental Representation in Popular Media"
You are invited to the final conference of CULS334: Environmental Writing, titled "Environmental Representations in Popular Media". There will be three student panels discussing the following topics:
1) The Human Gaze: Dissecting Non-Human Animal Representations in Popular Media
2) Climate Change: Fiction and Dystopia
3) Narratives of Prosperity: Exploring Symbols of Progress in Post-Independence India
The conference will take place over two days - Tuesday the 26th & Thursday the 28th of April 2022. Speaker presentations will be followed by discussions.
