The Department of Psychological Sciences is organizing a conference in March 2025, titled “National Conference of Psychology: Bridging Theory and Practice, at FLAME University. The dates for the conference are 28th and 29th of March 2025.

The theme for this conference is "Innovations in Mental Health." Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being, yet it remains a stigmatized and under-resourced area of healthcare in India. Despite recent advancements in mental health awareness and treatment, significant gaps persist between research and practical application. Addressing these gaps is essential for developing effective mental health interventions and policies tailored to India's unique socio-cultural context. This conference aims to outline a comprehensive approach to bridge the gap between mental health practitioners, researchers and policy makers. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, we seek to enhance the efficacy of mental health care and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices and policies.

We have an exciting lineup of keynote speakers, a panel discussion with industry experts, and a fireside chat along with oral and poster presentations. The conference is aligned with FLAME University’s interdisciplinary ethos. Psychology and mental health are inherently transdisciplinary, drawing from the fields of sociology, public policy, technology, economics and education. By integrating diverse perspectives, interdisciplinary collaboration would help foster comprehensive mental health understanding.
