Dear FLAME University Stakeholders,
In the wake of WHO’s declaration of Coronavirus as a pandemic, and Government of Maharashtra directive in this regard, it has been decided to temporarily close the university from March 14, 2020 till further orders. During this period no academic or other activities shall take place on the campus.
We are deeply concerned about the impact of this evolving global health situation and have worked tirelessly to make the necessary decisions to protect our community. We need to do our part to help mitigate the spread and minimize exposure and risk. By being proactive as a community, we can safeguard our own health and the well-being of those with whom we interact
We are a fully residential campus, and do recognise that some students cannot go home for a variety of reasons. We will continue to provide housing, dining and other essential services to such students. However, the necessary precautionary restrictions shall apply on those staying on campus.
With the help and creativity of faculty and staff we will make sure students’ scholastic learning is not adversely affected by this disruption. Measures are being put in place to ensure that students are able to meet their academic requirements remotely. Special attention is being paid to the course requirements of graduating students. The Deans and the faculty concerned shall be in touch with the students about their classes including alternative modes of evaluation. Students who need to remain on campus will also receive remote instruction.
We shall be continuously updating this information as we receive latest inputs.
Sincerely,
FLAME University
