A fair degree of automation has been brought in various library functions in order to make library transactions seamlessly integrated, faster and convenient. Accordingly, it has been made RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) enabled. RFID is an innovative technology for automatic identification and tracking of library material. The library is equipped with a “Self Check System” which enhances member privacy and saves time. The member identification and access rights are also controlled by the RFID system.
In addition, the Library also provides suitable storage space and environment for preservation and upkeep of crucial documents pertaining to institutional record, history and heritage. The Library Café and the Lounge at the ground floor provide ample avenues and options for refreshment, breaks and relaxation.
