The curriculum will transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and be dynamic and responsive in incorporating the latest developments. Course work consists of a blend of core and elective courses.
Highlights
The duration of the program is 2 years and maximum time to complete is 4 years.
In the first year, students are exposed to the advanced concepts in the discipline of the specialisation along with interdisciplinary courses.
By the end of the first year, students choose a topic and identify an advisor for their dissertation that they are expected to work on in the second year.
In the summer of the first year, students will have to mandatorily complete an industry/research internship.
Students spend the 4th semester year pursuing a significant research project and submit the dissertation/project to partially fulfil the requirements of the program.
Dissertation/Project is mandatory.
A minimum of 76 credits has to be earned to be eligible for the degree.
After successful completion of the program requirements, the student will be awarded a MSc in Economics.
